Stargirl is about a girl who has been homeschooled. Suddenly, she moved to a public school where everyone is just like everyone else. Where everything is the same. Normal. But she doesn't care- she cheers for the opposing team, plays the ukelele, sings happy birthday, and gives little gifts on holidays. At first it's entertaining, but then it gets old. Eventually, everyone ignores her. Then they shun her. It is like she doesn't exist- she tries to be normal, and it fails... Lastly, she moves away.
