"Alright well raijo is not my real name(as you might have thought). But my theory to all this is that the writer of these books is the man known as: Dipper pines. I say that he came from the future in order to leave the journals in places where they are destined to be found and he knows where to put them because he already lived his life figuring out the mysteries of gravity falls and so dipper as an adult(I imagine) goes to the past to ensure that what should happen to his young self does happen. So whatever does happen is meant to happen so says dipper due to the journals having still been placed where they are. All that's left is to find out what this machine of such holiness does. It couldn't be so bad since dipper approves of its construction so much that he would leave a journal for Stan. All I know is that soon, we will all know what its for and it is important to mankind that Stan goes through with it. As for Stans twin, idk what to he would have to do with all this but perhaps he is dippers co worker in the process of building the machine in the past and this is just a stretch but the six fingers on the journals could merely be symbolic meaning there are six factors or parts to one big thing. Oh and mcgucket is definitely the coworker of the author but which was confirmed in the "society of the blindeye" episode. So he must have been working with dipper before dipper met Stans twin. Oh and since stanford has a twin and is dippers uncle, then either stanley is dippers dad or there were three brothers as siblings. On another note. WHO's to say Stanford isn't their dad in the first place. All I know is that we have never seen the face of dippers dad so we don't know if he is Stanley or not. Hm... Well I think I've written enough for now. You think on it and get back to me on this theory if u like it. It seems pretty solid to me. Anyway bye :) " -Submitted by raijo broloachi
First things first:
I just wanna say that regardless of the fact that it isn't your real name, Raijo is still a pretty rad name. Props to you man for thinking that name up!
My mind has exploded, I had to read this over twice to get all of that info in. Nice theory!!
I just want to make sure I'm getting this right: you're saying that Dipper wrote the journals himself, then in the future, left them for his younger self. This ensures that whatever happened that summer will happen still. Future!Dipper also leaves a journal for Stan on purpose.
And the six fingers being symbolic of six big factors? I haven't heard that before! That's so creative, everyone has been assuming that this meant that the author actually had six fingers! *boosh mind explosion*
The only thing here is that Stanford can't be the twins' dad. "Grunkle" stands for "Great Uncle" meaning that Stanford is the uncle of the twins' dad. (But since he's an uncle he has to have a sibling... #stanleytheory)
All in all, solid theory! I personally definitely think there will be at least one more episode dealing with time traveling/time in general, since Dipper still has Blendin Blandin's time device.
Thanks for submitting man! If you ever think of more theories or expand on this one, make sure to send it in! I'd love to read it! // kimiko hope
