"You should watch She Was Pretty!" -Joe
Okay, this was literally sent eight months ago, and I am so sorry about that.
Buuuut when this was sent I actually was watching She Was Pretty! Joe my friend, you have good taste! If it's alright with you, I'm going to tell a quick synopsis of the series before getting into my review.
For those who don't know, She Was Pretty is a Korean drama series that aired from September 16th to November 11th of 2015.
The basic plotline of the drama is that Kim Hye-jin and Ji Sung-joon were childhood friends. Hye-jin was a pretty girl from a rich family, and she became friends with Sung-joon who was an "unattractive" boy. She was his only friend, and he was her first love.
However, he eventually moved away, but he did leave with the promise that they would see each other again.
As time passed, Hye-jin's family's publishing company became bankrupt, and consequently she lost the money to afford high-end clothing and products that helped her tame her ruly hair. When she became a teenager, she inherited her father's prominently red cheeks. All these factors contributed to the loss of the beauty she once had. Now she can barely hold a steady job, but she still retained the upbeat and kind personality of her adolescence.
Sung-joon on the other hand became very successful. Growing up to be the youngest deputy chief editor in Korea, he is no longer the shy boy he used to be; although he is arrogant and stubborn, he is recognized for his talent. Unlike Hye-jin's loss of conventional beauty, he is now very handsome.
After living in America for so many years, Sung-joon eventually moves back to Korea. The first thing he does is contact his childhood friend (Hye-jin!) and the two agree to meet again. Upon arriving at the meeting place he doesn't recognize her, and Hye-jin is ashamed because she isn't pretty like she used to be. She doesn't want his perception of her old self to be ruined by her now "ugly" self, so she asks her attractive best friend Ha-ri to step in and meet him for her.
Things get even more complicated however, when Hye-jin lands a job at The Most, a popular fashion publishing company, and with Sung-joon as her boss (plus a love triangle or two).

And without further ado, here is my review (which if you want to read, hit read more! (psst there are spoilers!)).
That episode. Was amazing.
I honestly didn't cry, but I definitely teared up. I have so many feelings about and just ahhhhhhh I loved it all oh my goodness
(I'll probably do a post on what I thought about the episode in a week or so)
As promised, here are the final decodings. Let's go!

Here is a picture of all the end credit cards put together (the amount of effort and planning that goes into this show man... how could you not appreciate it?):
And the last thing, a hidden cryptogram found in the bus:

With the key (which I believe is "AXOLOTL"?) it can be decoded to:
HIDDEN DEEP WITHIN THE WOODS A BURIED TREASURE AWAITS
SECRETS LOST AND STATUES FOUND BEYOND THE RUSTY GATES
...Which likely refers to the creepy statue that flashed at the very end.
I'm sorry that this post seems so short and very terse and to the point, but I didn't want to share my opinions on the episode yet (because there will be a post on that in the future ;) )!
Well that's the end, that's the final decoding. Don't run into any weirdness bubbles on the way out.

...and it's not just an expression anymore.
The last episode is airing tonight! Honestly, I'm not even going to deny it... I'm probably going to cry. I've watched this show since it first aired (the commercials for it pulled me in! I love a good mystery/paranormal show), and now it's finally coming to an end.
But let's keep our tears to a minimal folks, save it for 7/8 PM central for when the episode airs ;)
Good news, DisneyXD is hosting a 68 hour marathon (well, has been) of all the episodes! So if you have missed the last few, definitely catch up!!
Some things that I hope to see in this final episode:
Pacifica- How is she doing with her whole parents situation? Is there a possibility that her and Dipper (and to that further extent, Mabel) will become friends in the future *coughs*orsomethingmore*coughs*?
Someone dying- There was all that hype over someone dying this season... If it was just alluding to Big Henry or the Mayor, I may honestly be disappointed. Everyone getting worked up over nothing? What a shame, quite honestly.
Shermie/G4G- As you all know, I am a firm believer of the Grunk4Gramp theory, so I need at least an explination of who Shermie is.
Dipper and Mabel's parents- I want to see them!
Carla- Love her... And apparently she's a big spoiler. I need to see how important she is to the story!
McGucket- He's been gone for a while, he definitely needs to make a reappearance and meet Ford again.
Stan + Ford talking it out- They need to come to an understanding... My babes...
There are more, but those are the few that I could name off the top of my head. How about you? What do you hope to see?
*salutes* See you all after the episode! And remember, reality is an illusion...
'Pocalypse Preppin': A short series about McGucket giving advice on getting ready for the apocalypse.
"Can you please talk about some conspiraces concerning Bill Cipher?" -COOLMAN
You can bet your -12 dollar bill I can! Speaking of negative twelve dollar bills, my friend Jill is amazing, she got me one for Christmas, along with a Stan dollar. Bless her, I love her so much...
By the way, Coolman, I am so sorry that this is so late! School is a pain, but a pain we all have to go through. It sucks.
Anyway, on to the theories!! Well, conspiracies more like. Not all of these are mainly about Bill Cipher, but they all are related to him in some way.
W2W- Also known as where to watch! A new blog 'series' (more like blog category) where I post videos of shorts, maybe episodes, or places where you can watch to make it all the more easier for you. Enjoy!
Shop at Home with Mr. Mystery: A short commercial series centered around Stan getting rid of his "junk". Watch it right here, right now!
"OK I have two theories. (well one and a comment) One) At the end of Gideon Rises, it shows Stan going down into the portal room. When he goes down into the elevator, it shows there are 3 levels. The first is just the way down (nothing special) The second level is not shown, and the portal level, what I'm wondering is what is on the second level. The second thing is the glasses in the Cipher wheel is actually Toby Determined. Reasons: He's in over half of all episodes, he was part of a secret society, and he's the only newspaper reporter in Gravity Falls. So that means he has to report EVERY story and he knows EVERY thing in Gravity Falls. He's kinda like Bill and watches everyone. Yeah I'm weird! But seriously whats one the second level?" -Dipcifica (ノ≧∇≦)ノ I love being a troll!
First off, I love Dipifica, whether you were joking or not. It's my favorite Gravity Falls ship!!
Anyway, hey there! Since I took so long to respond to this (I am so sorry, by the way, school just takes over my life), in that time frame it actually has been revealed to us what is on the second level. But just in case you don't remember, here it is:
It's Ford's private study!
Now, regarding your theory.
Well since there is no one as the glasses right now (the original person most believed to be the glasses was Ford, but he turned out to be the six-fingered hand), it could be Toby!
However, in terms of things challenging your theory...
Toby's glasses don't match the ones on the wheel. In addition, the fact that Toby is such a minor character who's lines are often for comic relief makes it even less likely (it can be argued that Robbie V and Pacifica Northwest are minor characters too, but parts of the story arc have been focused on them, whereas Toby just gets a line or two).
But hey, what do I know? I only know as much as you do, so I could be wrong. We won't find out for sure until the last episode comes out!
fiction > reality
i'm telling you, i'm not obsessed i'm dedicated
